Vet-Designed Cat Essentials for the tray, the tablet and the nail trim
A plant-based clumping litter with no perfume, so a cat uses the tray and you can read the clumps, and a 90 x 90 cm wrap that grips itself, so one person can give a tablet or trim a claw in a minute. Designed by emergency vet Dr Duncan Houston around the two jobs that go wrong at home.
A vet behind every range. Gary behind every decision.

One is for the tray, the other for the things you do to a cat who would rather you did not. Neither is a cure for anything; both make the job quicker.

The tray, and what it tells you
A clumping litter with no perfume. Cats reject scented trays more often than owners believe, and clumps you can count and size are the earliest sign of a kidney or bladder problem an owner can catch at home. Bin it, never flush it. 15 kg.

The tablet, the drops, the nail trim
A 90 x 90 cm square of thick fabric that grips itself: wrap, press, and one person has both hands free. Head out, always. It holds a cat; it does not calm one, and the page says when not to use it.

Why this range exists
“The tray is the best diagnostic tool in your house. The towel is how the medicine gets in.”
Many of the cats I see in emergency with a blocked bladder, or kidneys that have quietly failed, could have been caught weeks earlier by someone looking at the tray. So the litter had to clump hard, so you can count the clumps and see when they change, and carry no perfume, because a cat who hates the smell of her tray goes on the bed instead. The other half of what I do with a cat in the emergency room is done through a towel, with the cat wrapped so she feels held rather than grabbed, and bath towels do not stay put. The Sticky Wrap is that towel done properly: a square of thick fabric that grips itself, so one person can give a tablet or trim a claw in a minute. Neither product is a cure for anything. One tells you early; the other makes the treatment possible at home. Gary uses the litter without comment and forgives the wrap by lunch.

Significantly more effective than traditional towels for grooming restraint purposes. The XXL size accommodates larger cats or multiple wrapping layers.

Questions cat owners ask about litter and handling
Short answers from the vet who designs the range. Health questions go to your own vet, or a certified vet in the Ask A Vet app.
Can I flush the litter?
Please do not, whatever the bag says. Cat faeces can carry Toxoplasma, a parasite that water treatment does not reliably remove and that harms marine life and people; water authorities in several countries ask you not to flush litter for that reason. Starch litter also swells, which is how it clumps and how it blocks a pipe. Scoop into a bag and into the household bin, and keep used litter off anything you will eat.
Will my cat switch to the new litter?
Most do, because it is unscented and fine underfoot, which are the two things cats object to in a new litter. Change over gradually: a third new over two-thirds old for a few days, then half, then all. A cat who refuses a new litter is not being difficult; she is telling you about the texture or the smell, and a gradual change usually gets past it. Give it two weeks before you judge it.
How long does 15 kg last?
It depends on the cat, the tray depth and how often you scoop, so the honest answer is the one being measured: one cat, one tray, scooped twice a day, and the figure goes on the litter page when it exists. For one cat it is months; for three cats it is weeks. Buy one carton and see.
Will the wrap calm my cat down?
No, and please do not buy it for that. A wrap holds a cat so a job can be done quickly; it does not change how she feels about the job. Most cats settle when held firmly with the head free, which is why vets wrap them, but a cat who is panicking is unwrapped and left alone, not wrapped harder. If every tablet is a fight, ask your vet about a different medicine, a different route or pre-visit medication.
How do I trim her nails with it?
Wrap her from behind on the floor or the couch, front legs in, head out, firm not tight. Free one front paw at a time out of the front of the wrap, press the pad to extend the claw, and take the clear tip only, well short of the pink. Two or three claws a session is a win; you do not have to do all eighteen at once. A treat after every paw, and the How to Safely Clip Your Cat's Nails guide shows the cut.
What if something arrives damaged, or my cat will not use it?
Email hello@purrz.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo and your order number; a split bag, a faulty wrap or a wrong item is covered and we pay the return shipping when the error is ours. A cat who will not use the litter in the first days usually needs the gradual changeover above; a cat who fights the wrap needs it practised loose, with a treat, a few times over a week before the first real job.
