Footprint and height are the biggest reasons cat furniture goes back in the box. Two minutes with these tools saves a return—and a disappointed cat.

FROM KITTENHOOD TO THE SENIOR YEARS
From kittenhood to the senior years, compare products by age, size, body, behaviour, access and routine. PURRZ™ can support everyday life around needs such as arthritis, reduced mobility, recovery, stress, weight management and sensory change—but products do not diagnose or treat illness.
Appropriately sized play, supervised enrichment, safe climbing and washable resting places for growing cats.
Shop kitten-friendly gear
Durable scratchers, height to climb, mental enrichment and comfortable places to sleep it off.
Shop adult cat gear
Low-entry beds, stable scratchers and gentler enrichment for older cats.
Shop for senior catsProducts around the cat. Veterinary care around the illness. PURRZ™ products are everyday pet products, not medical devices or treatments. New pain, stiffness, hiding, appetite or litter-box changes need veterinary assessment. Ask PURRZ™ about dimensions, materials, fit and care; ask your veterinarian about health suitability.
Ask the PURRZ™ team for product helpMEET DR DUNCAN HOUSTON, BVSc
Before I became a veterinarian, I was already working in pet food while studying veterinary science. Since then I've built my clinical career across general practice and emergency care—and a lot of those emergency shifts involved cats and products that were never designed around them.
PURRZ™ brings that experience to product choice. I want owners to understand what a product is for, whether it suits their cat and how to use it responsibly before they spend. I lead the product and guidance decisions behind PURRZ™.
“Every shift, I see what the wrong products do to a cat's health. That's why I started designing them myself.”

VET-OWNED • BVScTHE PURRZ™ DESIGN STANDARD
PURRZ™ makes the practical questions easier: What is this product for? Which cat might it suit? Where does it go and how much space does it need? What are its limits? Then you can decide with fewer guesses.
Know before checkout: intended use • size and footprint • materials and care • limits and supervision • ongoing costs where relevant.
A scratcher only works where the cat already scratches. Check the footprint and the spot before you choose a finish.
Choose the right size and material, supervise vigorous play, inspect regularly and replace damaged toys.
Beds and enrichment can support everyday comfort and routine, but they do not diagnose or treat disease.
Check care instructions, replacement parts and any tracker subscription before ordering.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Clear answers about choosing, using and caring for PURRZ™ gear.
Still not sure? Send your cat's breed, weight and the space you have, and the PURRZ™ team will tell you which size and which product to order. Ask before you order ↗PURRZ™ is a 100% vet-owned cat brand founded by Dr Duncan Houston, BVSc, who brings 20 years across pet food and pet products and 10 years in veterinary practice, including emergency care. The range starts with practical needs seen in real cat life.
PURRZ™ is not trying to be the cheapest item in the aisle. Each product is selected or designed around a specific need, with its construction, options and guidance explained so you can compare before ordering.
No. Choose a size and material that suit your cat, supervise vigorous play, and inspect products regularly. Remove anything that splits, sheds pieces, develops sharp edges or becomes small enough to swallow.
Watch how your cat already scratches. Cats that stretch upward usually suit a tall rope post or a wall-mounted stretcher; cats that scratch sideways usually suit a flat felt or cardboard lounge. Placement matters as much as the product—put it where the scratching already happens.
A cat enrichment toy encourages activities such as stalking, chasing, batting, foraging or problem-solving. Begin with an easy challenge, supervise use and include any food used within your cat's normal daily allowance.
Change one thing at a time and go slowly. Mix a new litter in gradually over a week or two, keep the tray in the same place, and keep an old option available until your cat has settled. Sudden changes in toileting habits need veterinary assessment.
A scratcher gives your cat a better option, but it does not retrain them on its own. Place it next to the spot they already use, make that spot less appealing, and reward them for using the scratcher. Scratching is normal behaviour, not misbehaviour.
Measure your cat in a natural resting position and measure the floor space you have, then use the size guide on the product page. If you are between sizes, contact the PURRZ™ team with your cat's breed, weight and measurements.
Compare entry height, base stability, usable sleeping area, how far your cat has to jump to reach it, and cover care. Those features may affect access or everyday use, but a bed does not diagnose or treat arthritis or pain. Ask your veterinarian about individual needs.
No. PURRZ™ products are everyday pet products rather than medical devices or treatments. They may support parts of a daily routine around rest, scratching, enrichment, identification or meal pacing. Diagnosis and treatment need an individual veterinary care plan.
Only choose products that fit the activity and rehabilitation plan set by your veterinarian. A stable, accessible rest space or lower-intensity supervised enrichment may support the daily routine for some cats, but neither replaces treatment or professional rehabilitation advice.
The PURRZ™ range includes options across every life stage, but not every product is right for every cat. Compare size, intended use, materials and supervision guidance, then choose around your cat's age, body, behaviour and health.
A finder can scan or tap the Smart ID Tag to open the pet-profile details you choose to share. A powered GPS tracker can show location and selected activity or rest information through the ASK A VET™ app when charged, activated and connected in a supported coverage area. Live GPS and health features require a separate paid plan. Both add safety layers and can be used together alongside a registered microchip.
Delivery options and timing depend on your destination. Review the current shipping and returns pages before ordering, or contact the PURRZ™ team for help.
Live GPS location and health features require a separate paid ASK A VET™ tracker plan. Smart ID tags can be scanned for identification without a subscription and without providing live GPS tracking. Review current tracker plans and coverage before ordering.
